At John Hughes High School, the popular jock Jake Wyler (Chris Evans) takes a bet that he can transform the geeky, bespectacled artist Janey Briggs (Chyler Leigh) into prom queen. Guided by his conniving sister Catherine (Mia Kirshner) and surrounded by a cast of caricatured high school stereotypes, Jake dives headfirst into a raunchy, rapid-fire parody that spoofs dozens of teen classics from the 1980s and ’90s—ranging from She’s All That and The Breakfast Club to American Pie and Cruel Intentions
